They'll tell you no if can't get specific but you might get some hints. About two weeks before deadline, Dr. Cho will open a class for us to be able to submit the written proposal so we can get an original report from Turnitin. Cho suggestion: about a month before the oral examination contact committee chair to schedule oral exam. Should be able to derive the equations that are presented. Pass or fail notification should come from Cho about a week or two after oral exam. Can ask if he doesn't say anything, might get delayed because people be slow.
Cannot discuss with faculty and they can't see the files. Peers can see your work, they can offer comments but not technical advice. They can't write your work. Discussion of technical details not okay, and sentence by sentence review not allowed, but structure and points okay.
We really should be given hints about what they're going to ask about. If they don't ask the committee chair for some ideas. This is supposed to help us prepare for the oral examination.,
