Subject: MEMS Research Spotlight Selection
Hi Name,
The MEMS Graduate Student Association is launching a Research Spotlight to highlight students’ work. This spotlight will go out in a department wide email, and is supposed to be a means for students to get to know the broad range of work that we do. You’ve been randomly selected as one of the first two spotlight participants.
If you’re interested, please send me:
- A photo of yourself or an image that represents your work.
- A short (<300 words) paragraph including:
- A brief introduction (who you are, your track, and where you are in your degree)
- A summary of your research goals
- A description of your key research tasks
- The impact of your research
- Any additional items you’d like to share (e.g., recent publications, personal projects, hobbies you'd like to share).
If you're not interested, that's okay! Send me an email back so I can select a new student in your stead.
Please let me know by Friday, March 7th.
Thank you for being part of our research community!
Best regards,
Dane
