+Things that were confusing and have gone wrong
+1. The tutorial says an ethernet cable is recommended but not required. But then
+most devices won't detect the interface otherwise
+2. In the 'Launch KOS' section, setting the variables IFACE and SERIAL can be 
+misunderstood as being executed on the picocom terminal and not the other KOS 
+shell
+3. The iface is clear enough but perhaps earlier it should be mentioend to
+save the device name for serial somewhere
